We know it's been a while. A lot is happening behind the scenes, and we want to keep you updated on the latest.
We have been reflecting and resetting to prepare for a relaunch. New opportunities. New stories. New content. Stay tuned in the coming weeks as we reveal what we've been up to and what's new with us!
We have some dope workshops coming up, hosting community events for you to take part in, inviting a new cohort of Newark residents into our Community Media Training Lab, AND Hiring the best and most outstanding to join our team.

Applications are open for our 2023 reporting fellows! We invite you to apply to join our 6-week community-centered media lab. Over six weeks, our cohort will work together on how place-based information and solutions can be presented through media making and journalism. Selected reporting fellows will receive a $1000 stipend. Join us as we explore how to fill information gaps impacting communities of color and all people living on the margins. Next up is "Are We Alright?". There has been a lot happening here in Newark, and we want to break bread, be in the community, and share resources. In partnership with Newark Community Action Network, we are hosting A community check-in conversation that will include a panel on how to cope, seasonal depression and sharing community information + resources. Food and drinks will be provided. Register here.
Street Team- WE OUTSIDE! We are hiring canvassers to attend local community meetings and speak to residents about what information they're seeking and where they get their information from. If you talk easily to people from diverse backgrounds, enjoy being outside, take great notes, and can hit the ground running, this paid opportunity is for you.
